Wall-Mounted or Rack-Mount Batteries?

Compare battery formats for different installation needs, available space and expansion plans.

Wall-mounted and rack-mount batteries can both be considered for stationary energy storage, but the physical format changes how an installation is planned. Start with space, system requirements and service access, then compare the specific products.

When wall-mounted storage fits the brief

ZHAOKE’s wall-mounted range includes 5.12kWh and 10.24kWh home batteries and a compact 5.12kWh model . These formats can be discussed for residential solar storage and backup applications.

Confirm the enclosure rating of the exact model. The catalogue lists different protection ratings across the wall-mounted range, so indoor and outdoor suitability should not be inferred from appearance.

What rack-mount modules offer

The 51.2V rack-mount LiFePO4 module is listed with 100Ah capacity and 5.12kWh nominal energy. Its 19-inch format allows the storage layout to be reviewed alongside a compatible rack or cabinet.

The product materials describe parallel operation up to 16 units. The actual system configuration, control requirements and inverter compatibility must be confirmed for the intended installation.

Consideration Wall-mounted format Rack-mount format
Installation space Suitable wall or approved floor arrangement Compatible rack or cabinet
System planning Review the exact battery model Review modules, cabinet and system configuration
Service access Allow access around the unit Allow access to modules and connections
Communications Confirm inverter compatibility Confirm inverter and parallel-system requirements

Compare the complete configuration

Both formats need a compatible inverter, correct communications and an installation arrangement that follows the selected product’s instructions. Nominal capacity is only one part of the comparison.

Include usable energy, output power, environmental limits and the proposed charging arrangement in the technical discussion.

Share your installation priorities

Send the available dimensions, application, current inverter details and future requirements. This helps the team compare formats around the real project instead of choosing a battery only by its exterior design.
